Quality Assurance Engineer- Hardware Development
Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer- Hardware Development that will provide TGCS Staging Services for Point-of-Sale (POS) hardware and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products. It combines technical expertise with strategic planning to deliver configurable, cost-effective solutions that comply with product standards and customer requirements. The role involves preparing and submitting cost-effective staging quotes to service and sales teams, establishing and releasing unique part numbers and Bills of Materials (BOMs), reviewing customer-provided images and test documentation, defining routing processes, coordinating pilot builds with manufacturers, and customizing packaging to meet specific requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and submit staging for all quote requests. Analyze customer requirements and product specifications to develop accurate, cost-effective staging quotes, factoring in product structure, component complexity and estimated assembly times.
