Being a Hardware Project Lead at Trackman requires you to work closely together with several senior stakeholders in a very dynamic environment – driven by our passion for the product, the customer and sports.

The position is in the R&D Hardware department, working closely with all hardware teams – mechanics, optics, electronics, and certification – as well as our close colleagues in embedded software, tracking algorithm teams, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and production.

The workplace for this position is at our HQ in Science Park DTU in Hørsholm.

Your key responsibilities are

  • Lead the hardware project group together with the Product Owner(s), developing next-generation hardware for golf and other sports applications.

  • Translate customer and business needs into clear technical requirements and hardware architecture.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Management, Business Development, Tracking, and Manufacturing to align priorities and ensure progress.

  • Turn technical requirements into actionable tasks, manage resources and dependencies, and maintain the overall hardware project plan.

  • Represent Trackman in technical discussions with suppliers, including specifications, quality issues, and expectations.

  • Communicate project status, progress, risks, and key obstacles clearly to management and other stakeholders.

  • Coordinate international product certifications, including CE, FCC, and UL, together with the Certification team.

  • Identify and manage hardware risks related to areas such as product quality, obsolescence, suppliers, and certifications.

Are you our new colleague?

We’re looking for an experienced project manager with a strong hardware engineering background who can bridge technical complexity, business needs, and collaboration. Ideally, you bring:

  • Several years of project management experience in hardware product development, preferably with RF systems.

  • Experience with complex projects across mechanics, electronics, RF, and embedded software.

  • Strong understanding of requirements management, design verification, and product industrialization.

  • Solid business acumen and the ability to translate diverse user needs into robust product solutions.

  • Experience with project management methodologies and Agile principles, ideally bringing complex electronics products to market.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach, knowing when to listen, challenge, and take the lead.
