Job Description

Are you a bachelor's or master's student who enjoys building software, working with data, and solving real business problems? Then you might be a great fit for Trackman's AI team.

About the role

Our goal is to help Trackman become an AI-native company. Right now, our focus is on building the strong data foundations, connected systems, applications, and automations needed to get there.

This is a hands-on role combining engineering and product design. You will learn how colleagues work and turn their challenges into software, data products, integrations, and automations.

We are chasing AI-native software development. We delegate the coding part to AI coding agents so we can focus on understanding problems, planning, designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining products.

You will report directly to the CFO and collaborate closely with colleagues across the company.

What you will do

  • Interview colleagues and identify opportunities for software, data products, and automation

  • Turn what you learn into clear user stories, product requirements, prototypes, and eventually working solutions

  • Build end-to-end solutions, including frontend, backend, databases, APIs, data pipelines, and integrations

  • Orchestrate AI coding agents, review their work, and ensure solutions are well designed and properly tested

Who you are

  • You are studying software engineering, computer science, data science, AI, or a related subject

  • You understand how frontend, backend, databases, and APIs fit together

  • You understand ETL/ELT, SQL databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and data integration

  • You understand software design, system architecture, and automated testing (unit/integration/e2e tests)

  • You are a power user of AI coding agents and understand context engineering and loop engineering. You will orchestrate AI coding agents working in parallel.

  • You communicate clearly, enjoy working with end users, and can turn their needs into practical solutions

  • You learn quickly, switch context effectively, and are comfortable figuring things out

  • You speak and write English fluently

  • You can work minimum 15 hours per week on site at Trackman's headquarters in DTU Science Park, Hørsholm (We understand your university workload so we are flexible with working hours)

The following are not required, but a strong plus:

  • Microsoft Fabric, Power Automate, Azure Ecosystem

  • Python, TypeScript, SQL, React, or modern web frameworks

  • AI agent development (context engineering, model benchmark, tool use, agent skills, MCP, graph engineering, evaluation, observability, guardrail, etc.)

You do not need to tick every box. If you have strong foundations and are excited by the work, we would still like to hear from you.

What this job offers you

  • Real responsibility and the chance to help shape Trackman's AI-native journey

  • Practical experience across software engineering, data, AI, and product development

  • Exposure to teams and business processes across a global sports technology company

  • An ambitious and social team where experimentation and learning are encouraged

  • A great workplace at DTU Science Park, with golf simulators, a fitness center, daily lunch from our own kitchen, and a beautiful surrounding forest

  • This is a paid student worker position.
