Databricks Developer

T-Rex Solutions is looking to select a Databricks Developer to support our Internal Revenue Service (IRS) EDOS program. The overall mission of this program is to modernize the IRS legacy Tax processing systems and is critical to the overall modernization of the IRS to improve taxpayer experience, increase voluntary compliance, and reduce the IRS’s reliance on costly and unsustainable legacy technology. This role will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing robust solutions for a variety of programs and applications.

In this position, you will benefit from experience with Databricks and AWS, as these platforms are essential to the role. Familiarity with Python and SQL will enhance your ability to develop and optimize data-driven applications, while exposure to Palantir is considered advantageous. You will also have the opportunity to lead initiatives that drive innovation, identifying gaps in current project architecture and proposing new software products to address those needs. Additionally, you may supervise a team of engineers, guiding them through the design, development, and implementation processes to ensure high-quality deliverables and continuous improvement within the team.
