Job Description
T-Rex Solutions is looking to select a Test Automation Engineer to support our Internal Revenue Service (IRS) EDOS program. The overall mission of this program is to modernize the IRS legacy Tax processing systems and is critical to the overall modernization of the IRS to improve taxpayer experience, increase voluntary compliance, and reduce the IRS’s reliance on costly and unsustainable legacy technology. This role will focus on enabling full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Perform continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite.
- Create automation strategies, automated scripts and support data and environment configuration.
- Participate in code reviews, monitor, and report defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of overall experience
- US Citizenship required
- Must possess an active IRS MBI Clearance and have current GFE
- Demonstrable experience with test management, quality engineering strategy and planning and test execution and management
