Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Mobile App Designer to join our product design team and support the development of high-quality mobile experiences.

In this role, you will work closely with senior/internal designers and mobile development teams to translate established design strategies and guidelines into accurate, implementation-ready mobile interfaces. Your main focus will be on Figma execution, design system maintenance, visual consistency, and developer handoff.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a designer who enjoys working with existing systems, refining UI details, organizing design files, and ensuring designs are clear and ready for development.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal designers to translate broader design strategies and brand guidelines into mobile UI solutions.

  • Create and update mobile app screens for iOS and Android, ensuring consistency across platforms.

  • Maintain and organize existing Figma files, components, variants, libraries, and design tokens.

  • Apply established design systems accurately across different mobile screens and user flows.

  • Translate global or high-level design concepts into clear, app-specific UI representations.

  • Define and document component states, spacing, typography, visual specifications, and interaction details.

  • Prepare clean and organized Figma files for developer handoff.

  • Ensure assets, naming conventions, component structures, and documentation are accurate and easy for developers to understand.

  • Collaborate closely with developers to clarify design intent and resolve implementation questions.

  • Review designs for visual consistency, accuracy, and adherence to established design guidelines.

  • Support ongoing improvements and updates to the mobile design system.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design, with a strong focus on mobile applications.

  • Hands-on experience designing interfaces for iOS and Android.

  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including:

    • Auto Layout

    • Components

    • Variants

    • Component libraries

    • Design libraries and reusable UI elements

  • Experience working within an established design system.

  • Basic understanding of mobile interaction patterns and interface conventions.

  • Familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and Google Material Design.

  • Experience preparing designs for developer handoff.

  • Strong attention to detail and visual consistency.

  • Ability to maintain clean, structured, and organized design files.

  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and other designers.

  • Ability to follow established guidelines while maintaining accuracy across multiple screens and components.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with corporate, enterprise, or global design systems.

  • Familiarity with design-to-code or developer handoff tools.

  • Basic understanding of mobile development constraints and technologies such as React Native, Swift, or Kotlin.

  • Experience working with design tokens.

  • Experience reviewing implemented interfaces and identifying visual inconsistencies.

  • A portfolio showcasing mobile app interfaces, Figma files, wireframes, design system components, or UI documentation.
