Belgium : Test Lead - Freelance (REF18)

Role description:

The Tester is responsible for the quality of the delivered systems, partly responsible for the test policy, the organization of functional and technical test activities and good (collaboration) with development team and domain experts to guarantee efficient and continuous operation of software and this based on the standards regarding quality assurance

Responsibilities:

• Determining the test cases, test plan and performing the system integration and regression tests to ensure the efficient and continuous operation of the software

• You are partly responsible for a test strategy that describes how the system is optimally tested

• If necessary, a test plan/test strategy is drawn up
• You describe the test specifications for each Sprint / Release that also contain documented test cases
• You manage checklists for installation testing and regression testing
• You perform system integration and regression tests
• You contribute to the test automation
• Test data management
• Defect management

• Developing, monitoring and following up on a wide range of test plans and analyses, as well as follow-up of the incident solution(s) to ensure that the software meets the needs and expectations of the end user. 
• Report to the parties involved (internal/external)
• Analyzing and evaluating the test results and co-guiding and supporting Business
• Acceptance Testing (BAT)
• Be responsible for adding/keeping the automated test data and regression up to date scenarios in close collaboration with the respective teams
• Encouraging efficient use of automation during the various test phases
• Be responsible for building and maintaining the test knowledge database and others documentation
• Checks that all test environments are ready for testing, the test plan/scenario contains information about which test environments are needed to properly perform the tests

Skills:

• Describe the need for knowledge and expertise about how different parts of the organization work together to achieve business objectives. 
• Explain the required level of understanding of competitors' activities, commercial environment and products and services .
  

• Have experience in designing and executing End-to-End tests.
• Being able to deal autonomously and creatively with test methods/techniques.
• Being able to plan one's own work well and putting everything in motion to achieve the (tribe) objectives
• Be able to monitor the set quality objectives
• Describe the nature and complexity of the problems encountered in this position.
• Provide information on the level of innovation required, if applicable, and identify environmental factors that may increase the complexity of solving the problems
• Critically review possible test scenarios to ensure the balance between test depth and test breadth and to guarantee test
• Follow up on the correction of delivered errors and test the incident solution before it goes into production
• Taking note of user stories, epics, initiatives for cross dependencies to be determined and taken into account
• Ensure that the related quality objectives are complete, followed up and reported on so that quality is maintained
