Wij zoeken een Self-Driving Systems Specialist (SDS Specialist) om diagnostics, calibration, configuration en technical readiness te ondersteunen van self-driving systems die worden gebruikt in autonomous vehicles en robotaxi fleets in Europa.

De SDS Specialist richt zich op de technologielaag van autonomous mobility: sensors, compute systems, software configurations, autonomous driving hardware, system diagnostics, calibration procedures en technical validation. Deze rol zorgt ervoor dat het self-driving system in elk autonoom voertuig correct functioneert, nauwkeurig gekalibreerd is en klaar is voor safe testing, commercial deployment en autonomous ride-hailing operations.

Je werkt samen met Senior Technicians, AV Operations Leads, Safety Operators, Depot Specialists, engineering teams en fleet operations teams om technische issues te identificeren, structured troubleshooting procedures uit te voeren en betrouwbare operatie van autonomous vehicle platforms te ondersteunen.

Deze functie is ideaal voor kandidaten met ervaring in automotive electronics, ADAS systems, embedded systems, robotics, diagnostics, calibration of complex technical support die willen werken in het hart van autonomous vehicle deployment en robotaxi operations.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

Self-driving system diagnostics

Self-driving system issues diagnosticeren en oplossen die autonomous vehicle performance en fleet readiness beïnvloeden.

Technische problemen onderzoeken rond cameras, LiDAR, radar, GPS/GNSS, compute units, sensors, connectivity modules, wiring en autonomous driving hardware.

Structured diagnostic procedures uitvoeren om root causes te identificeren van SDS hardware-, software- en configuration issues.

Advanced troubleshooting ondersteunen voor autonomous vehicle faults die testing, commercial operations of robotaxi fleet availability beïnvloeden.

Complexe technische cases escaleren naar engineering teams met duidelijke findings en supporting documentation.

Hardware support

SDS hardware components in autonomous vehicles inspecteren, repareren, vervangen en valideren.

Installatie en verificatie ondersteunen van cameras, LiDAR units, radar sensors, compute hardware, sensor mounts, antennas en related components.

Bevestigen dat autonomous driving hardware correct is geïnstalleerd, veilig vastzit, schoon, functioneel en ready for operation is.

Samenwerken met Senior Technicians bij vehicle-level issues die zowel standaard automotive systems als SDS components betreffen.

Zorgen dat alle hardware werkzaamheden worden uitgevoerd volgens strict safety, quality en technical procedures.

Software configuration & updates

Software updates, configuration changes en system validation checks uitvoeren voor autonomous driving systems.

Gedefinieerde software procedures uitvoeren met diagnostic tools, command-line tools, configuration files of engineering-provided workflows.

Succesvolle softwareinstallatie verifiëren en bevestigen dat de SDS operational is voordat het voertuig terugkeert naar service.

Troubleshooting ondersteunen van software-related issues die autonomous vehicle behavior, system communication of operational readiness beïnvloeden.

Nauwkeurige records bijhouden van software versions, configurations, updates en validation results.

Sensor calibration & validation

Calibration en verification activities uitvoeren voor autonomous vehicle sensors en self-driving system components.

Calibration workflows ondersteunen voor cameras, LiDAR, radar, localization systems en andere perception-related hardware.

Valideren dat het self-driving system correct functioneert na maintenance, software updates, hardware replacement of vehicle service.

Engineering teams ondersteunen met data collection, calibration testing en system performance verification.

Zorgen dat autonomous vehicles voldoen aan technical readiness requirements vóór terugkeer naar robotaxi operations of on-road testing.

Engineering & operations support

Fungeren als on-site subject matter expert voor SDS-related technical issues.

Documentatie en compliance

Nauwkeurige records bijhouden van diagnostics, repairs, software updates, hardware changes en calibration activities.

Strikte operational, safety en technical procedures volgen bij werkzaamheden aan autonomous driving systems.

Alle vereiste system validation checklists en technical reports afronden.

Compliance ondersteunen met internal quality standards, safety protocols en customer requirements.

Zorgen dat alle SDS-werkzaamheden traceable, repeatable en correct gedocumenteerd zijn.

Vereisten

Essentieel

Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in automotive electronics, diagnostics, embedded systems, robotics, technical support of complex technical systems.

Sterke troubleshooting en analytical skills.

Ervaring met vehicle electronics, sensors, control systems of advanced technical hardware.

Comfortabel met structured software procedures en technical workflows.

In staat om te werken met diagnostic tools, logs, technical documentation en engineering instructions.

Hoge aandacht voor detail en sterke procedural discipline.
