(Junior) Financial Accountant

What we’re looking for

Twentyfour Industries is growing fast. To keep up, we're looking for a (Junior) Financial Accountant to support our day-to-day accounting. You'll work closely with our Accounting Lead to deliver clean monthly closings and reliable bookkeeping. You'll learn a lot in a short time, and as we scale you'll grow into more responsibility.

The day-to-day

• Maintain general and sub-ledger entries, and flag accounting questions for review
• Process incoming and outgoing invoices (AP/AR), and carry out bank and vendor reconciliations
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closings under guidance, in line with the applicable GAAP
• Help prepare individual financial statements and supporting schedules for group reporting
• Keep data entry clean and processes consistent across our finance systems
• Support the Accounting Lead in working with external tax advisors and auditors
• Help prepare documentation for annual audits and statutory tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, trade tax)
• Help shape our accounting processes as we grow

You should apply if you

• Have completed an apprenticeship (e.g. Steuerfachangestellte/r, Bilanzbuchhalter/in) or hold a degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation
• Have solid knowledge of preparing financial statements under HGB
• Have hands-on experience with AP/AR processing and bank and vendor reconciliations
• Have supported monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Are detail-oriented and reliable, and comfortable working independently with guidance
• Are eager to learn and enjoy a fast-paced environment
• Speak German at native level (C2) and English at B2 level or higher

Nice to haves

• Exposure to IFRS
• First experience with consolidation
• An interest in optimizing processes
