Research Associate II, Upstream Antibody Discovery

Job Description

We seek a Research Associate to support in vivo antibody discovery using our
high-throughput hybridoma process. In this lab-based role, attention to detail, strong
documentation and communication skills, and working independently and in group settings
will be critical for success. You will work directly with the Upstream Antibody Discovery team on
various projects to produce and scale hybridoma cell lines while supporting
the recombinant expression of antibodies and antigens. 

What You’ll Be Doing
● Hybridoma generation, culture, scale-up, cryopreservation, and antibody production
● Mammalian cell culture
● Transient transfections in mammalian cells to support recombinant expression of
antibodies and antigens at a range of scales
● Media and buffer preparation
● Management of antibody discovery project timelines and deliverables
● Cross-functional coordination of workflows within the lab and with project managers
● Troubleshooting and continuous process improvement
