Fleet Controller

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Controller to join our Fleet Control team at U-Drive.

Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you will work a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, in a busy, team-based contact centre environment, handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails. You will take control of service, maintenance and repair (SMR), vehicle off road (VOR) cases and breakdowns from first call to resolution, arranging and chasing work with our supply chain, and making sure every job is delivered to service level agreements.

This is a busy, fast-moving role for someone who gets the job done. You will be:

• A problem solver who takes ownership, thinks on your feet and finds a way to get vehicles back on the road
• A strong, confident communicator by phone and email, able to chase suppliers firmly and keep customers informed
• Highly organised, able to juggle multiple live jobs, prioritise under pressure and keep track of every one of them
• Resilient and calm in a high-volume contact centre environment, where no two days are the same
• A team player who supports colleagues when the phones are busy
