Job Description
Job Title: Staff Accountant
Department: Finance
About the Role: As a Unite Us Staff Accountant focused on financial data integrity , you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the monthly close, credit card program and payroll process. Ideal candidates are analytical, detail-oriented, AI forward and curious, with a strong desire to develop in a SaaS environment.
What You'll Do:
General Ledger Accounting
- Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies timely
- Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure proper account coding
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and prepaids
- Support preparation of financial statements and management reporting
- Assist with internal and external audit requests, including schedules and documentation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
