Application Engineer

Upwing Energy is seeking an experienced and driven Project Engineer with a strong background in application engineering, high-speed turbomachinery, mechanical design and instrumentation in oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in applications engineering, technical sales support and managing moderately sized projects with the oil and gas majors. The ability to communicate goals and complex technical details to a large and varied set of stakeholders is critical to success in this role.

 

The Project Engineer will act as the primary technical interface with operators and be responsible for defining the technical requirements of the project, solution designs, leading pre-deployment application reviews, and building trusted relationships with operators’ engineering teams. The Project Engineer will also drive scope, schedule, budget and QA/QC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

·         Lead application engineering reviews and design technical system level solutions for prospective and active customer engagements
