Purchasing Officer

Venergy Marine Management LTD. is a dynamic, privately-owned shipping company headquartered in Piraeus, Greece. Operating a growing fleet of modern eco tanker vessels, we are committed to delivering safe, reliable, and efficient maritime transportation services worldwide. 

As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a Purchasing Officer who will report directly to the Technical/Purchasing Manager and play an important role in smooth, efficient and compliant procurement and coordination of procurement activities. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Support the day-to-day procurement activities of the Company and contribute to the efficient supply of goods and services to the fleet. 

• Receive and process purchasing requests from vessels and internal departments. 

• Obtain and compare supplier quotations, considering price, quality, delivery time and technical requirements. 

• Assist in supplier communications, quotation requests, negotiations and purchase order administration. 

• Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with Company procedures and approval levels. 

• Follow up purchase orders through to final delivery and proactively address delays, discrepancies and urgent vessel requirements.
