Group Ventures is Valsoft's incubator. We find opportunities in the market and build companies to address them. The finance team inside Group Ventures keeps the books for four of those companies so far: ValPay, Tenerum, Sadie Technology, and Plug & Pay.
We're looking for a financial analyst to run their day-to-day accounting cycle: vendors, payments, banking operations, recurring schedules, and close support. You'll work directly with the Finance Controller, who keeps responsibility for accounting judgement, financial statements, and technical positions. You'll be the one running the accounting engine each day.
The work spans several entities and seven currencies (CAD, USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, NZD, CHF) on NetSuite OneWorld. Volume is high and close deadlines are tight.
AI should be part of how you work. Use it to draft, analyse, and automate the repetitive parts of the cycle. You're responsible for the accuracy of whatever gets posted.
