Job Description

Host Community Clusters:

Mantserre, Bakgatla Ba Kgafela, Baphalane Ba Ramokoka, Thabazimbi & Mogwase

Beneficiary:

Family member which is financially dependent on the employee. Beneficiaries need to be registered with the pension / provident fund and recorded on the employee information system (Navigator+) these are usually a spouse, partner, children, parents, brothers, and sisters with the same surname. In the event that the surname is different, an affidavit must be provided.

The number of candidates to be recruited will be determined by the Social Labour Plan (SLP) and community allocation as determined by the Social Performance Department.

To qualify for the intake, you must be in possession of a Grade 12 Matric Certificate and be between the ages of 18 to 35 years old and have no prior experience of mining activities.

Qualifications

In order to be considered for this role, you will have:

• Minimum Grade 12 with Math’s and Natural Science or N3 (4 Subjects - Trade specific)
• No prior mining work experiences
• Undergo an underground medical fitness assessment. 
• All applications from residents of host communities must include proof of residence, with the stamp of the relevant tribal office or municipality
