About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced and motivated QHSE Process Improvement Manager (PIM) to join our Quality Health Safety and Environment team within our Global Supply Chain. In this global role, you will spearhead the design, optimization, and implementation of our Target Operating Model.
  • You will effectively collaborate with many stakeholders including Manufacturing, Warehousing, Project Execution, Procurement, Engineering, Site operations teams and Data Analytics teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence both operational efficiency and strategic initiatives across Europe and North America.
  • The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong background in business process management, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and deep expertise in process optimization. While we value experience, our focus is also on knowledge, personality, and the ability to drive change in a collaborative and time bound manner.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Global QHSE Design: Lead the optimization of QHSE capabilities aligned with strategic business goals to Reduce QHSE issues proactively and address root causes for permanent solutions.
  • Improve and Optimize processes: Identify improvement opportunities, facilitate fact-based selection of initiatives, and prioritize projects with most impact on QHSE process maturity.
  • Define Standard Work: Help document process workflow for accurate and complete deliverables, to hold QHSE team members accountable with clear expectations.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Stakeholders: ensure buy-in on process design across the value stream with effective interfaces between teams.
  • Change Management and Training: Facilitate change management and support training initiatives to foster adoption of new processes and standards in our facilities in EU and US.
  • Implement KPIs to monitor process performance, turnaround time for operational activities and employee workload for each QHSE process and report regularly across regions.
  • Execute internal audits and drive corrective actions to improve compliance with Supply QHSE processes. Drive closure of corrective actions and updated QHSE documentation.
  • Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement and drive CI initiatives to ensure progress.
  • Promote Best Practices: Stay actively informed of latest trends that can be incorporated into our QHSE processes.

Your Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in QHSE related discipline or process improvement. Master's preferred.
  • Knowledge and application of standards (ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO50001)
  • Business Process Management: Strong understanding of BPM methodologies and process modelling tools (SIPOC, Value Stream Mapping, etc.)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with proven ability to manage improvement programs and influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Project Management Skills: ability to plan, execute, and monitor activities, ensuring timely delivery, resource allocation, risk management, and cross-functional team coordination
  • Facilitator & Negotiator: Ability to guide informed decisions, negotiate with stakeholders, and build consensus across teams.
  • Analytical Thinking: Attention to detail, able to evaluate processes, identify gaps, and propose efficiency improvements  
  • Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) certification preferred
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Spanish is a plus.

Your Experience

  • At least 5 years practical experience in a QHSE related discipline, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experienced with implementation and audit of QMS/SMS/EMS
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing business processes
  • Proficient in problem-solving techniques (8D, 5 Whys, FMEA…)
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement and Lean frameworks
  • Self-Starter: Able to take initiative and lead projects with minimal supervision.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 5664 to €7689 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
