Compliance Officer
Overview of the Role
The Compliance Officer will help ensure that the company operates in accordance with applicable government regulations, internal policies, professional standards, and accepted business practices.
Main Responsibilities:
• Monitor and support the effective implementation of the company’s compliance program.
• Ensure compliance with relevant government agencies, including PEZA, BIR, BOI, SEC, and DOLE.
• Prepare and submit required compliance reports to government agencies within established deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of compliance activities.
• Monitor regulatory updates and identify potential compliance risks or concerns.
• Keep management informed of significant compliance matters and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and maintain readiness for audits.
• Collaborate with external consultants, legal counsel, and key stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of effective internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct or coordinate risk assessments and facility inspections.
• Proactively review processes, practices, and documentation to identify compliance gaps and areas for improvement.
