Regional Manager, Component Quality & Operations

We are looking for a Regional Manager, Component Quality & Operations in Singapore to lead the Quality and Operations teams, ensure products consistently meet customer requirements, and drive excellence in component authentication, inspection operations, and quality performance.

What can you expect to do?

• Lead the Quality and Operations functions for the Singapore Inspection & Distribution Center, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
• Develop, coach, and lead the Quality and Operations teams to drive performance, accountability, and operational excellence. 
• Oversee component authentication, inspection processes, and counterfeit risk mitigation activities.
• Partner with customers, suppliers, service providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve quality and operational issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Review inspection findings, assess product acceptability, and support material disposition decisions.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems and industry standards, including ISO 9001, AS9120, and AS6081.
• Provide guidance on quality investigations, corrective actions, and customer quality escalations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What is the experience and knowledge needed to be successful in this role?

• Bachelor's degree required; Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline preferred. 
• 12+ years in the electronic components industry, including experience within independent distribution and/or component brokerage environments.
• 5+ years leading quality and operations teams in manufacturing, distribution, or electronics environments
• Experience in component authentication, counterfeit mitigation, inspection operations, and quality systems, including AS6081 and AS9120; experience leading high-volume inspection and distribution operations preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, EPA/ESD controls, and quality management systems.
• Familiarity with RoHS requirements and failure analysis techniques preferred.
