Reporting to the Director, Service & Commercial Applications, the Global Communications Systems Engineer will support the European rollout and ongoing development of Videojet’s customer-facing communications technology.
You will help deploy, integrate, and improve the NICE CXone contact center platform and its CRM connections while partnering with service, commercial, integration, and global DTS teams. This remote role may be based in any EMEA location and requires availability during European business hours. This role has no routine travel requirement. Occasional travel may be requested for selected larger-country rollouts, depending on business needs.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Coordinate with local service and commercial teams, integration teams, and global development partners to deliver contact center rollouts and dependable post-launch support across Europe.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, balancing platform constraints, user experience, cost, and business value.
Develop, configure, and enhance NICE CXone features, call flows, logic-based business rules, alerts, process flows, integrations, and automation.
Provide hands-on support for telephony and communication applications, troubleshoot technical issues, and identify opportunities to improve reliability and the customer experience.
Create SOPs, standard work, onboarding materials, and training for users and managers within local business organizations.
Build and maintain reports, dashboards, data-quality controls, and KPIs that improve productivity, adoption, and continuous improvement.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Hands-on experience developing, deploying, configuring, or supporting contact center platforms or software.
Working knowledge of telephony technologies, including PSTN/POTS and VoIP/SIP.
Experience integrating a contact center platform with Salesforce or another CRM system.
Experience gathering business requirements, producing functional or technical designs, and developing and executing tests.
A degree or certification in IT, telecommunications, programming, or a related technical field, or equivalent directly relevant practical experience, together with advanced to fluent written and spoken English for technical and business communication.
It would be a plus if you also possess:
Experience with NICE CXone and Salesforce.
Programming or application-development experience.
Experience supporting multi-country technology rollouts.
Experience developing user training, reports, or dashboards.
Proficiency in another major European language.
