Join us to help transform how companies around the world run revenue — and build the platform that will guide leading revenue teams into the future.
THE OPPORTUNITY
At Salesloft, our Senior Corporate Accountants own the integrity of the numbers the whole company relies on. You will drive the close, own key areas of the general ledger, and make sure our financial records are accurate, timely, and compliant. As the company scales, your work is foundational to financial reporting the business and its stakeholders can trust.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership accounting role. You will own significant portions of the monthly and quarterly close, prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations, and help strengthen the controls and processes behind our financials. You will also help modernize the close — using automation and AI-assisted tooling to make accounting faster and more accurate without sacrificing rigor.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Own significant areas of the monthly and quarterly close, ensuring an accurate and timely process.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules with a high bar for accuracy.
- Own areas of the general ledger and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
- Support internal and external audits, preparing schedules and documentation.
- Help strengthen accounting controls, processes, and systems as the company scales.
- Identify and drive automation and AI-assisted improvements that make the close faster and more accurate.
This role lives at the heart of how we practice Evidence Over Ego — accurate, well-supported financials are the ultimate evidence, and you hold the line on rigor and integrity. And in the spirit of how we Make Your Mark, you'll improve close processes and controls, automating and documenting so the function scales cleanly as the company grows.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an experienced accountant who owns their areas of the close with rigor and takes pride in accurate, well-documented financials. You are detail-oriented, technically strong in GAAP, and comfortable improving the processes around you.
You embody what we call Evidence Over Ego — you support every number with evidence, are candid about discrepancies, and hold a high bar for accuracy over expediency. You think in systems and build accounting processes that scale.
This is the right role if you want to own the integrity of the financials at a company redefining how revenue teams operate.
THE TEAM
The Salesloft Finance organization owns the accuracy, compliance, and insight behind the company's financials. The Accounting team drives the close and financial reporting, working closely with FP&A, Revenue Operations, and external auditors.
The team Moves as One — accounting, FP&A, and revenue operations share ownership of accurate, timely financials and coordinate directly. And we are relentlessly Customer Inspired: sound financial operations are part of building a durable company that can keep serving customers well for the long term.
THE SKILL SET
- Strong corporate or public accounting experience, with hands-on ownership of close activities.
- Experience with an ERP or general ledger system (e.g., NetSuite).
- Strong attention to detail and a track record of accurate, well-documented financials.
- Good communication skills and the ability to partner across finance and with auditors.
- THE EDGE (NICE-TO-HAVES)
- CPA or progress toward it.
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment, including familiarity with revenue recognition (ASC 606).
- Experience improving close processes or implementing accounting automation.
