Founding Account Executive (US)
About Viktor
Viktor is the AI teammate. He lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams, connects to thousands of tools, and does real work for real companies: finance, marketing, ops, engineering. We're building the product that replaces half the SaaS stack.
The team is small. The scope is not.
The Short Version
You join as our first Account Executive in the Americas, building the US sales motion with Robbie O'Connor, our Chief Revenue Officer. You run both of our sales motions: fast inside-sales deals that get new customers set up and spending, and bigger enterprise accounts you own for life. You're paid on how much they grow.
What's Actually Going On Here
US customers and enterprise-sized leads already arrive through product sign-ups, Contact Sales and outbound, and today our leadership works them on top of everything else. Enterprise cycles are long, so the enterprise pipeline starts now.
No US team to inherit, no US playbook to follow. Our Inside Sales team in Dublin already runs the flow you'll bring to the US. You work directly with the founders and our Chief Revenue Officer, who are still in the motion, and take full ownership of both motions in the Americas.
What You'll Actually Do
Get new inside-sales customers set up and spending, grow them through their first 28 days, then hand them to an AI Performance Consultant.
Own enterprise accounts end to end and for life: qualify, run discovery, design the solution, land, grow the account quarter after quarter, and own the renewal on annual contracts.
Build your own pipeline from usage and billing data and a named list of US target accounts, on top of the leads routed to you.
Run both speeds: fast, high-volume inside-sales cycles, and multi-threaded enterprise deals through security review and procurement.
Shape the US playbook from day one. What converts, what messaging lands, what objections recur. Answers come from data, not guesses.
How You'll Know It's Working
The US inside-sales flow runs at the same standard as our Dublin team, with clean day-28 handovers.
A named list of US enterprise target accounts lives in Attio, with a written account plan for the top ones.
You have qualified pipeline in both motions, kept current in Attio.
You've landed your first enterprise account (a team or department live and spending), or signed a pilot with agreed success criteria.
The security, procurement and product gaps that blocked your deals are written down and in front of product.
Who You Are
4+ years closing B2B software at a product-led, usage-priced or AI-native company, across both SMB or mid-market and larger accounts.
Land and expand: you've turned a small first purchase or a self-serve team into a much bigger account, and you can name where it started and where it ended.
You can run both speeds: high-volume, fast cycles, and multi-threaded deals through security review and procurement.
You build your own pipeline rather than living off an SDR team, and you stay close to every account after the sale.
Comfortable with data. Usage dashboards, billing history, building your own lists. SQL is a plus.
AI-native, with evidence. You use AI agents in your own selling every day, and you can sell an AI agent to a skeptical buyer. You can't sell Viktor without living the workflow.
Happy being employee #1 or #2 in a function, with no enablement, no SC, no sales ops on day one.
Based in (or ready to relocate to) New York.
Fluent English. Spanish a plus.
Probably Not a Fit If
Enterprise-only deals with 9-month cycles are your home turf.
You've only run velocity deals and have never taken a multi-stakeholder deal through a security review.
SDRs have always fed you meetings.
Quota is the only number you care about, and you change logo every 18 months.
"Leverage" comes up in your sentences more often than customers do.
You can't name the numbers on your best deal.
Even Better If
You were an early AE at a product-led company as it moved upmarket.
You've sold AI, automation, or agent products and know how buyers evaluate this category.
You've sold on consumption or credit-based pricing (Snowflake, MongoDB, OpenAI or Anthropic API style), not only seat licences.
You have a New York network in financial services, fintech or tech.
You've worked with Solutions Engineers on proofs of concept.
You've built your own book of business with SQL or analytics tooling.
The Hard Part
It's two motions in one seat: fast inside-sales deals and long enterprise cycles with bigger buying groups. Comp targets and our Solutions Engineering team are still being built, and you'll sell while that happens.
Why This Role Is Different
When we split the role into Inside Sales and Enterprise, you choose your lane, and the first reps are in line to lead the US team.
How we work
Small team, high trust, low process. Decisions are made by owners, not committees. You will ship your first week. You will talk to users your first day.
We don't do alignment meetings or stakeholder syncs. We build things, see if they work, and iterate.
Why Viktor
We're one of the fastest-growing companies in the world. The product works. The market is pulling.
This is a rare window: everyone here owns something real. Not a task. A surface of the company that customers depend on.
That doesn't last forever. Right now, it's still true.
Compensation
Top-of-the-market salary and the kind of ownership that only exists at this stage.
The best work happens when you're in the room. This role is based in New York City. We're setting up our New York office now; until it opens you'll work hybrid with the team in the city.
