We are seeking an experienced and strategic Workday Solution Architect to provide technical leadership across multiple client and internal projects. This role is responsible for shaping solution architecture, translating complex business requirements into scalable Workday solutions, and acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
Job Description
Responsibilities will include:
Providing architectural leadership and advisory services across multiple Workday client engagements.
Designing and recommending cross-platform Workday solutions aligned to business requirements and strategic objectives.
Translating business and technical requirements into practical technology solutions.
Evaluating architectural options and recommending the most effective and scalable approach.
Leading the management of technical risks, issues, and solution decisions throughout project lifecycles.
Acting as a trusted advisor to project teams, functional leads, and stakeholders.
Mentoring, coaching, and developing Product Leads and other team members.
Driving continuous learning and ensuring teams remain current on the latest Workday functionality and enhancements.
Collaborating with sales, marketing, training, and delivery teams to develop thought leadership and solution content.
Supporting custom Workday solution development and providing guidance on complex client requirements.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, Workday product owners, and industry stakeholders.
Leading presentations, solution demonstrations, and architectural discussions with both technical and business audiences.
Must Have Skills Required
Experience
Minimum 10 years' experience within the IT industry.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Solution Architect or Technical Architect role focused on Workday.
Proven experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle of projects in a Solution Architect capacity.
Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring, and leading technical teams.
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
Strong business acumen with experience presenting concepts, solutions, and strategic recommendations to diverse audiences.
Technical Skills
Expert knowledge of Workday Solution Architecture.
Deep understanding of Workday, HR technology ecosystems, security architecture, and enterprise integrations.
Ability to design innovative solutions while maintaining governance, compliance, and security standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
Ability to work across multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
