In this role, you’ll coordinate licensing activities for our locations and service lines, helping ensure new and existing operations meet applicable state, federal, Medicare/Medicaid, and accreditation requirements. From new agency and branch applications to renewals, changes of ownership, relocations, and ongoing regulatory maintenance, you’ll play an important role in keeping our operations compliant and positioned for growth.
The ideal candidate brings healthcare licensing or regulatory experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to successfully manage multiple applications, deadlines, and regulatory requirements across multiple states.
This position is based at our corporate office, with consideration for hybrid or remote candidates.
What You’ll Do
Licensing & Regulatory Management
- Coordinate initial applications, renewals, amendments, relocations, and other licensing activities for home health and hospice agencies, branches, and service lines.
- Maintain agency licenses and required regulatory documentation across multiple states.
- Track licensing requirements, renewal dates, application statuses, and other critical deadlines.
- Research and monitor state and federal licensing requirements and communicate changes that may impact operations.
- Support licensing activities associated with new locations, expansions, acquisitions, and organizational changes.
- Maintain documentation related to Medicare/Medicaid certifications and other required healthcare permits and registrations.
Regulatory & Accreditation Support
- Support compliance with applicable CMS, Medicare/Medicaid, state, and accreditation requirements.
- Coordinate documentation and information needed for surveys, audits, licensing reviews, and accreditation activities.
- Partner with accreditation organizations and regulatory agencies as needed throughout application and renewal processes.
- Maintain organized, audit-ready licensing and regulatory records.
Compliance Support
- Support internal and external audits and surveys by providing requested licensing and compliance documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation related to compliance activities.
Tracking, Reporting & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Maintain a centralized and accurate repository of licenses, applications, renewals, approvals, and regulatory documentation.
- Proactively monitor upcoming expirations and outstanding requirements to prevent licensing gaps.
- Provide leadership with updates on application status, upcoming deadlines, and potential regulatory risks.
- Partner across Operations, Compliance, Legal, Revenue Cycle, Finance, and other teams to support licensing needs and organizational growth.
- Serve as a resource to operational leaders regarding licensing requirements and documentation.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered
- 3+ years of healthcare licensing, regulatory, credentialing, or compliance experience preferred
- Home health and/or hospice experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of CMS, Medicare/Medicaid, and state healthcare licensing requirements
- Experience supporting multi-state healthcare operations preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic tracking/database systems
