Site Operator- Shifts - Fixed Term Contract

Purpose of the Job :

Receive, store and distribute Fuel in an efficient and effective manner whilst maintaining the required HSSE standards, as well as agreed customer service levels. Support Engineering Staff with daily and quarterly maintenance. Manage customer interface and relationship

Principal Accountabilities :

• Safe Loading of Mine Vehicles, Equipment & Bowsers
• Tank dipping
• Accurate Transaction and Meter recording and reconciling
• Sample Taking
• Housekeeping
• Generic Preventive maintenance activities
• Enforcement of & Adherence to HSSE and Life Saving Rules
• Take part in toolbox talks
• Performs other related duties as required by the Supervisor or Depot Manager

Requirements :

• Grade 12 certificate or Trade Certificate Level 3 (Fitting & Turning, Boiler Making & Welding or similar)
• Computer literate
• Must have a Driver’s license
• Knowledge of depot operations, stock control and HSSE
• Must be able to communicate fluently with staff
• Willingness to work odd hours
