Structural Engineering Intern Waltham, MA | Summer 2027 About the Opportunity Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience designing large, complex structures? Join Walker Consultants as a Structural Engineering Intern and work alongside experienced engineers, architects, planners, and restoration professionals on projects that make an impact across the built environment. At Walker, you’ll have the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most complex parking structures in the world, including structures serving resorts, casinos, airports, and other major developments. Parking structures combine many of the challenges found in both buildings and bridges, requiring thoughtful structural design, materials knowledge, long spans, durability considerations, and attention to aesthetics. You’ll gain exposure to real-world engineering projects while working as part of a multidisciplinary team and learning from experienced professionals. You’ll report directly to a Director of Design, Project Manager, or Project Engineer and have the opportunity to contribute throughout different phases of a project.
