Yield & Programmatic Partner

The Challenge

As a Yield & Programmatic Partner you will drive and maximize Wallapop’s advertising revenue through strategic inventory management, advanced pricing optimization, and strong demand partner relationships—while safeguarding advertiser quality standards and delivering an exceptional user experience.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute yield strategies across direct sales, programmatic, and network demand channels.
• Set and optimize floor prices, waterfalls, and auction configurations to maximize revenue per impression.
• Ensure optimal revenue delivery from all indirect demand sources including Open Bidding SSPs, Idealo, AdMob, and ad networks.
• Analyze inventory performance, identify revenue opportunities, and recommend optimization strategies.
• Forecast advertising revenue, manage pacing against targets, and report on performance trends.
• Negotiate rates, terms, and SLAs with programmatic partners, SSPs, and ad networks.
• Onboard and evaluate new demand sources, measuring incremental value and auction efficiency.
• Manage relationships with key programmatic buyers, agencies, and demand partners.
• Optimize demand path to reduce auction inefficiencies and maximize advertiser competition.
• Partner with Ad Tech Lead on implementation of yield strategies, testing new configurations, and troubleshooting revenue issues.
• Coordinate with sales team on inventory allocation, pricing strategies, and direct vs. programmatic balance.
• Collaborate with product team on ad placement strategy, user experience impact, and inventory roadmap.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Programmatic, AdOps, or AdTech on the publisher side (ideally within a marketplace or large international media group).
• Strong knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem, including vendors, technologies, industry trends, and current challenges.
• Hands-on experience in yield management and programmatic revenue optimization, SSP management, and technical AdTech troubleshooting.
• Highly analytical and data-driven, with experience managing A/B tests, revenue forecasting, pricing optimization, and working with analytics tools such as Looker and Google Analytics.
• Comfortable working in a global, international environment.
• Native or near-native English proficiency (required); Spanish is a plus

Do note that all our jobs are Barcelona based. We follow a hybrid model where flexibility rules. We commit to a minimum of 6 days per month in the office. Each team self-organizes to decide on cadence and in-person/remote rituals.
