A family in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a compassionate, reliable part-time caregiver to support their 86-year-old father living independently in a smoke-free, pet-free home. The ideal caregiver will provide warm companionship, mobility support, and daily personal care assistance to help maintain a safe and comfortable daily routine.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM (20 hours/week)

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free household
• Pet-free home

Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging companionship and supportive care for an individual with dementia
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including toileting and grooming
• Provide standby assistance with ambulation and overall mobility safety
• Plan and prepare daily meals
• Light housekeeping - vacuum, clean toilet used by the client, light laundry

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in senior caregiving, including personal hygiene and mobility assistance
