Part Time Companion & Caregiver (Mandarin Speaking) – Montreal, QC
A family in Montreal, QC is seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver for their mother who is living independently, recovering from recent eye surgery, and experiencing the typical weakness of aging.
Schedule:
- 1 day per week (Flexible: Weekdays or Weekends)
- Minimum of 2 hours per visit (negotiable based on needs)
Family Specifications:
- Client lives alone in Downtown Montreal, near Concordia University campus
- Warm and comfortable environment
- Open to students, with a strong preference for those pursuing nursing or healthcare fields
Responsibilities:
- Provide warm, attentive companionship and conversational engagement
- Assist with meal planning and cooking daily meals
- Support light housekeeping and maintaining a tidy living space
- Drive and run local errands as needed
Requirements:
- Fluent in Mandarin
- Female caregiver strongly preferred to ensure client comfort
- Caring, patient, and reliable personality
- Agreement to a comprehensive background check
Preferred:
- Nursing or healthcare student background
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (a bonus, not strictly required)
Compensation:
- $30 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
