Part Time Nanny/Mother's Helper – Sunnyvale, CA

Seeking a warm, proactive, and reliable part-time nanny and mother's helper for a family in Sunnyvale, CA 94086 to assist with their 4-year-old child and provide active household support. The family is looking for a long-term caregiver who will take initiative to keep the home organized, maintain tidiness, and create a calm environment for the family.

Schedule:

• Days: Monday – Thursday (with opportunities for occasional date night care)
• Hours: 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM (12 hours per week)

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home
• No pets in the household
• Household includes a child under 2 who has a separate full-time nanny
• Values a proactive caregiver who takes initiative to keep the home organized.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and provide attentive, engaging care for the 4-year-old child upon arrival home from school
• Plan and engage the child in age-appropriate games, activities, and active play
• Proactively assist with household organization and daily tidying up to maintain a tidy, low-stress environment
• Manage child-related laundry (washing, folding, and putting away)
• Perform household chores and proactive cleanup throughout the shift

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of professional childcare experience
• Certified in CPR

Compensation:

• $24-$28 per hour (commensurate with experience, willing to offer higher for candidates with exceptional experience)
