ABOUT THE ROLE
JOB TITLE: Senior Full Stack Product Engineer (Vue, Laravel, Nuxt, NestJS, Typescript) - Freelance
LOCATION: Full Remote (Italy, Spain or France) or Hybrid (Milan)
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Freelancer (with VAT number), full time
SALARY RANGE: €75K - €90K / year (AS CONTRACT - FULL TIME)
TRAINING BUDGET: for professional development (conferences, courses, meetups)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Product Engineer (Vue, Laravel, Nuxt, NestJS, Typescript) to join our team and help us build cutting edge solutions to power our user-facing platforms.
You’ll work across the stack, on anything from our APIs to web interfaces to internal tools. No matter what you’re working on, you’ll be contributing to the design, architecture, and scale-up of our platform and will help us roll out new features.
What you'll do:
Support the PMs, EM and the team in developing front-end and backend solutions (end user-facing and administrative user-facing) according to UX/UI designs, guaranteeing quality and scalability
Help the team identify front-end and back-end architectural solutions based on business logic and requirements, managing the Technical Complexity
Help us maximize the user experience and quality of our product
What you’ll bring to the table:
You have proven experience (4/5+ years) in autonomously managing and delivering projects, stakeholders and other team members to guarantee cooperation, communication and alignment
You have experience in tech leadership, and know when to delegate, when to manage, and when to lead
You are fully autonomous in managing project requirements, implementation and delivery of backend/frontend solutions
You have an outcome and product driven mindset in your solutions
You have experience in delivery management and Agile practices
You have experience in working with Product and Design on finding optimal solutions to business requirements
You are already familiar and an advocate in using AI in your development workflow, with AI IDEs (Cursor/Copilot) and CLIs (Claude Code CLI or Gemini CLI)
Fluent English; comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-market, remote-first environment
Technological experience with:
Node.js / Typescript, with deep knowledge of NestJS
Vue / Nuxt3 (React is good, but you will have to code in Vue.js here) and Typescript
HTML5 and CSS3
SEO and UI/UX on mobile and desktop applications
RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
Unit and integration tests
SQL Postgres/BigQuery (or MySQL databases)
Git, Github, Github Actions (or alternatives)
Docker and managing containers in development environment
Bonus points:
Clean Code, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles
MikroORM
Vitest / Jest / Mocha
Microservices architecture
Message distribution systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
