Position Overview
The Specialty Pharmacy Technician works alongside pharmacists to ensure medications are safe, effective, and accurately prepared for patients. This role involves locating, dispensing, packing, and labeling prescribed medications, which are then reviewed by a pharmacist prior to dispensing. In addition to direct pharmacy support, the technician may assist with administrative tasks such as processing insurance claims, maintaining inventory, filing paperwork, and delivering excellent customer service.
