Job Description

Position Summary

The Videographer serves as a visual storyteller for Winsupply and the Winsupply Family of Companies, operating as a key member of the communications team. This role is responsible for using their imagination, originality, and talent to craft compelling narratives and manage video projects from initial concept through to the final cut. The Videographer collaborates closely with the creative team to produce engaging content that resonates with target audiences, conducts professional on-camera interviews, and produces a wide range of deliverables from polished, long-form videos to dynamic, short-form content for social media. This role executes visual strategies that directly impact and elevate the organization's brand voice for both internal and external audiences.

 

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

Visual Storytelling & Production

  • Serve as a visual storyteller. Plan, storyboard, light, shoot, capture clean audio, and direct visually stunning video content for both internal and external projects and campaigns.

Interviewing & Directing

  • Utilize exceptional people skills to conduct on-camera interviews as well as direct studio podcasts and operate teleprompter equipment for executive messaging.
  • Direct internal team members, executives, and external clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident to elicit authentic, compelling soundbites.

Expert Post-Production

  • Edit high-quality video and audio using Adobe Creative Cloud and other software.
  • Create visually appealing motion graphics, mix audio, color grade, and ensure all deliverables meet strict brand guidelines.

Project Management

  • Take full ownership of the video production pipeline.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, establish timelines, and ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Content Strategy & Trends

  • Stay on the cutting edge of digital video trends.
  • Adapt filming and editing styles to produce both engaging short-form content (social media reels, teasers) and impactful long-form content (commercials, mini-documentaries, training videos).

Creative Collaboration

  • Work as a highly collaborative, contributing member of the creative team.
  • Partner with scriptwriters, designers, and marketers to bring multimedia projects to life.

AI Integration & Innovation

  • Continuously evaluate and adopt artificial intelligence tools within video production.
  • Apply AI solutions to enhance production value and improve workflow efficiency across pre-production, editing automation, audio mastering, and asset generation.

Photography & Asset Capture

  • Capture imagery of events, initiatives, and daily operations including executive headshots, facility shoots, and team milestones to build and maintain a robust visual asset library.
  • Produce high-quality photographic assets for internal communications, social media, marketing collateral, and brand storytelling.

Digital Asset Management

  • Organize, tag, and securely archive all video and photography files to ensure media assets are easily identifiable and accessible for future use.

Equipment Management

  • Maintain, organize, and troubleshoot all production gear.
  • Research and recommend future equipment purchase and software upgrades.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in videography, photography, production, or similar role.
  • A robust portfolio/demo reel that strongly demonstrates an elite ability to tell stories through video, imagery, lighting, pacing, and audio.
  • Deep expertise in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Productivity (Docs, Sheets, Slides) ecosystems.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to build rapport quickly with interview subjects and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Ability to generate respect and trust from Winsupply Inc. employees and local companies, leadership, and external constituencies.
  • Exceptional project management and time management skills, with a sharp, uncompromising attention to detail with proven success of helping companies and/or teams create engaging content within given deadlines. Ability to conduct end-to-end projects and see them from idea to final deliverable.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable transitioning between structured shoots, interviews, studio sessions, and free flow events.
  • A proven ability to work alongside creative professionals and translate concept into reality utilizing resources from across the organization.
  • Be able to travel to shoots both locally and nationally. 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience creating long-form, short-form, and podcast content.
  • Scriptwriting experience is highly preferred.
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate for capturing aerial drone footage of facilities and events.

 

Additional Information

Physical Demands

Video production is a dynamic job that requires both active field work and focused studio work. To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, the candidate must be able to:

  • Safely lift, carry, and maneuver production equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand on their feet for long durations during production days, and sit for extended periods during post-production/editing days.
  • Work a flexible, non-traditional schedule as required by specific shoots or deadlines.
  • Possess the manual dexterity to operate camera gear, lighting setups, and computers.
