Job Description

We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in seven different European countries, equating to over 430MW of IT load in flight.

Due to continuous growth, we are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a Treasury Assistant to join our team in Head Office, Ballymount, Dublin 22. This candidate must be detail-oriented, energetic and an enthusiastic individual who will support the Treasury & Banking Lead to work on all aspects of cash, banking and debt of the business.

The successful candidate's position will be expanded to cover areas of cash and debt function as the person develops into the role and embeds process management, automation and reporting capability within the day-to-day deliverables. You will have strong communication, IT and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities:

Preparation and processing of payments on banking payment platforms  

  • Payment input for manual payments and payment files.  
  • Progression, approval of new payees and progressing payment approval as required.

 

Cash balance reporting and review

  • Bank account balance update and scheduling details of payments and receipts going through the bank accounts.
  • Comprehensive reporting of cash balances on a periodic basis.  
  • Run bank statements and resolve payment and transaction queries.

 

Cash forecasting:

  • Work closely with accounting teams, payroll teams, AR and AP to ensure accurate cashflow forecasting on a periodic basis.
  • Report on actual versus forecast on a weekly and monthly basis.  
  • Prepare and circulate rolling cash forecasts based on existing outstanding balances and forecast projected revenues and payments.

 

Treasury back office and middle office duties:

  • Confirmation of Treasury deals with banks for Money Market deals (deposits and loans) and Foreign Exchange (FX) deals.   
  • Reporting on interest income and foreign exchange positions.  
  • Assist the Treasury and Banking Lead with front office work / placing treasury deals with banks (putting funds on deposit etc).

 

Bank account set-up:

  • Bank account maintenance (account opening, closing, bank mandate updates etc).
  • Support new bank account opening as required. 
  • AML/KYC and other ancillary information requests from the banks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in line with established banking structures.

 

Ad hoc treasury projects

  • Process Documentation and providing / updating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for routine tasks.
  • Contribute and support the automation agenda with a view to optimising the automation of financial and operational reporting.

 

Requirements

 

Successful Candidate

  • 3rd level degree in Finance or Accounting or a similar degree. Recognised Treasury or Accounting professional certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in a Treasury environment (Banking or Corporate) is an advantage.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Previous use of NetSuite ERP and AIB IBB banking system is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong financial understanding, with some proficiency in financial modelling / forecasting.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrable analytical skills.
