AI Engineering Enablement Expert

The Role:   We are looking for a Software Development AI Technical Expert to serve as the department’s designated AI specialist and lead the responsible evaluation, adoption and practical application of AI across Software Development and Software Quality Assurance. The role will research emerging AI technologies, support experimentation and pilot projects, and translate successful solutions into practical tools, standards and development practices. You will provide technical guidance on AI-enabled development, code quality, security, AI advocacy, capability building and impact measurement. You will work closely with Software Development and Software Quality Assurance teams to develop practical, responsible and measurable AI-native ways of working that improve productivity, quality, security and innovation.
