Program Manager

The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing comprehensive project plans to meet customer and internal requirements. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, budget adherence, and timely delivery. The Program Manager will be the primary point of contact for customers, facilitating problem-solving efforts and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires a hands-on approach, experience in manufacturing processes, and the ability to manage complex programs effectively.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and manage detailed project plans aligned with customer and internal requirements.
• Employ the Xometry Product Development Process, aligned with the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodology.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve product, quality, and budget deliverables, from opportunity to repetitive production
• Manage cross-functional teams to deliver products that meet quality and budget requirements, from initial concept to full-scale production.
• Define and execute program initiatives to drive quality, delivery, and financial objectives, providing hands-on support as necessary.
• Assess and manage program execution, effectively escalating issues as needed.
• Collaborate with customers and functional teams to address and resolve program-related challenges.
• Communicate program status through regular reporting and reviews with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Utilize data management systems, including Xometry ERP, Salesforce, Tableau, Looker, financial systems, including tooling and capital tracking systems.
• Document program activities according to Xometry and customer requirements, using project management tools such as Xometry ERP and Smart Sheets
• Ensure flawless launch metrics, focusing on customer experience, program timeline adherence, delivery and quality objectives, and program financial results.

Qualifications: 

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Multitasking team player with a hands-on approach.
• 5+years of experience in Program Management.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, specifically in CNC, IM, sheet metal, stamping, die casting, and extrusions.
• Strong facilitation and problem-solving skills, particularly in technical, manufacturing, and engineering contexts, leveraging expertise from key stakeholders.
• Good verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing and customer locations.

Preferred Skills:

• PMP certification preferred.
• Strong organizational and program management skills.
• Proficiency in using project management and data analysis tools.
• Ability to drive program initiatives to meet financial and quality objectives.
• Experience in documenting and managing programs according to specified requirements.
