Backend Engineering Manager

At Yazio, we help millions of users every day on their journey to healthy nutrition and greater well-being. We're hiring a Backend Engineering Manager to lead our Backend Team, a small, senior team behind Yazio's API and all of the AI features in the app. This role is for an engineering manager who has led a team before and enjoys helping experienced engineers take full ownership of their work, including the conversations with Product.

This role is 100% remote and open to candidates based in Germany, Spain, Portugal or the UK.

YOUR MISSION

Our Backend Team works with the product squads across Yazio, including Monetization, Growth, Tracking Experience, Mobile Platform and Web, as well as Internal Tools and our CRM team. As its manager, you'll give the engineers the context and support they need to own their initiatives end to end, from planning through to conversations with each squad.
