Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 per year

Location: 1000 Gates Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11221.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM | In Office, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

The Treasury Manager is responsible for the daily treasury operations of a multi-entity organization with approximately 15 active companies and numerous banking relationships. This includes direct oversight of a small Accounts Payable department. In addition, the position will oversee cash management, banking activities, cash forecasting, debt administration, credit card programs all while ensuring strong internal controls and efficient cash utilization.

This is an operational treasury role focused on execution rather than bank relationship management. The position works closely with the Controller, accounting team, and senior management.

Essential Responsibilities:

Treasury & Cash Management

  • Manage all daily banking activities across multiple companies and bank accounts.
  • Monitor daily cash balances and optimize cash positioning.
  • Prepare and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
  • Coordinate intercompany cash movements and funding requirements.
  • Initiate and approve ACH, wire transfers, positive pay, and other electronic banking transactions.
  • Maintain banking portals, user access, and payment controls.
  • Ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.

Accounts Payable Oversight

  • Supervise a small Accounts Payable team.
  • Ensure timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.
  • Monitor payment approvals and cash disbursement schedules.
  • Improve AP processes and internal controls.

Banking Operations

  • Maintain banking records and account documentation.
  • Open, close, and maintain bank accounts as directed.
  • Resolve banking issues and transaction exceptions.
  • Monitor bank fees and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies.

Debt Administration

  • Track loans, lines of credit, and financing arrangements.
  • Monitor debt covenants, payment schedules, and maturities.
  • Coordinate principal and interest payments.
  • Maintain loan amortization schedules.
  • Assist with lender reporting requirements.

Credit Card Administration

  • Manage corporate credit card programs.
  • Monitor spending limits and cardholder compliance.
  • Review and reconcile monthly credit card activity.
  • Administer new card requests and cancellations.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports.
  • Develop cash flow forecasts and variance analyses.
  • Produce treasury dashboards and management reports.
  • Analyze cash trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assist with audit requests related to treasury activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • 4+ years of treasury, finance, or cash management experience.
  • Treasury or finance experience in home care.
  • Experience in a multi-entity organization.
  • Experience managing numerous bank accounts and intercompany cash movements.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on automation and process efficiency.
  • Experience supervising Accounts Payable staff preferred.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations and electronic payment systems.
  • Experience administering loans and debt schedules.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred, complex formulas).
  • Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar). Sage preferred.
  • Proficiency with online banking platforms and treasury management systems.
  • Strong financial reporting and forecasting capabilities.
