The Role:

Yubico is looking for a Sr. Demand & Supply Planning Analyst– Americas to lead short- and mid-term demand, supply, and production planning for the Americas region.

This role will translate commercial forecasts and customer deployment requirements into actionable supply and production plans, while ensuring appropriate inventory levels, product availability, and alignment across Sales, Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with hands-on planning experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment. This person will play a key role in strengthening Yubico's planning processes, developing the planning team, and leveraging NetSuite and Google Workspace to improve forecast accuracy, visibility, and decision-making.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Own the short- and mid-term demand and supply planning process for the Americas, translating sales forecasts, historical demand, customer requirements, and business intelligence into actionable supply and production plans.
  • Partner with Sales to review forecasts, pipeline, large opportunities, and customer deployment schedules; monitor forecast accuracy and bias and proactively address significant variances.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and other Supply Chain teams to align production capacity, raw material availability, inventory, lead times, and international shipping requirements with demand.
  • Maintain healthy inventory levels while balancing product availability, customer service, working capital, and excess and obsolete inventory risk.
  • Proactively identify demand, supply, inventory, and production constraints and develop mitigation, allocation, and prioritization plans to support on-time customer delivery.
  • Act as a key interface between Manufacturing and internal stakeholders, ensuring production plans, constraints, priorities, and changes are communicated effectively.
  • Lead regular demand and supply reviews and provide clear visibility into forecasts, inventory, production, shortages, risks, and required business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain planning KPIs and reporting, including forecast accuracy and bias, inventory health, service levels, shortages, supply attainment, and production performance.
  • Build and continuously improve planning processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that support customer deployment schedules and operational goals.
  • Partner cross-functionally on product lifecycle planning, including new product introductions (NPI), product upgrades, and end-of-life (EOL) transitions.
  • Participate in the implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of NetSuite demand and supply planning capabilities, improving planning productivity, data visibility, inventory optimization, and real-time decision-making.
  • Use Google Sheets extensively for planning models, scenario analysis, reporting, and KPI tracking, and Google Docs, Slides, and Drive for documentation, business reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning effectiveness, reduce lead times and costs, and contribute to Yubico's vision of building a world-class supply chain operation.
  • Stay current on supply chain planning best practices, systems, and emerging technologies that can improve operational performance.
  • Occasional international travel may be required to Yubico offices, customer sites, conferences, and company events.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, production planning, or supply chain management, preferably within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience managing short- and mid-term demand, supply, inventory, and production planning.
  • Hands-on proficiency with NetSuite, including experience with demand and supply planning functionality.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets and strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, including Docs, Slides, and Drive.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience developing planning models, KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting. Experience with tools such as Looker Studio or Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory management, production planning, product lifecycle management, and supply chain operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams and drive process improvements in a cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex planning issues into clear business risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations.
  • Strong ownership, problem-solving, and execution skills in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
