Job Summary:The Operator will run a Plate Roll Press to fabricate parts.    Functional Job Duties: Competent use of hand, bench, and machine operations to perform deburring, filing, grinding, and polishing on machined parts. Understanding of and ability to utilize a tape measure, squaring tools, electronic level, calipers, and micrometers. Understand tolerances for parts. Ability to understand why machines are not a peak performance and how to increase output. Accuracy with alignment, dimensional, and general inspection requirements. Perform spot inspections of parts. Interpretations of work orders, blueprints, and bills of materials. Complete and maintain paperwork. Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum, and regular steel). Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing setting operating roll press.  Prior fabrication experience Have the ability to read a tape measure. Mental Requirements: Must be able to go up and down stairs. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to do unaccompanied travel.
