Application Programming Interface Head, Business Transformation, CIB Technology

To shape, build and run the assigned IT product or platform portfolio (e.g., Core Banking), enabling business strategy implementation through effective technology solution strategies, roadmaps and execution plans. Drive solution architecture design, development, and service delivery using agile portfolio management principles. Oversee delivery execution across the Business Unit globally, managing the IT blueprint lifecycle and verifying its efficacy through local market outcomes.

• Translate the IT Portfolio strategy into a clear and actionable technology roadmaps that aligns with the Group Technology strategy, the overarching business objectives, and the specific context of its digital transformation initiatives. The Technology Portfolio may include significant solution areas such as Core Banking, Payments and Collections, and Issuing and Acquiring.
• Review emerging technology trends and proactively develop a toolbox roadmap that positions the bank and its countries for a competitive advantage, in alignment with the business's focus on innovation and digital-first solutions.
• Collaborate on complex solution designs and lead the development programmes across the full IT stack, ensuring practicality, usability, alignment with the technology plan, and fit-for-purpose functionality for different country tiers. Lead and apply agile portfolio management to oversee and deliver a portfolio of technology programs and projects through robust programme increments.
• Incorporate fit-for-purpose technical architectures into the toolbox, supporting the technology plan and catering to tiered country requirements and strategic objectives.
• Integrate technology best practices and information security standards into solutions, ensuring secure and reputable products across all markets.

• Degree: Information Technology

Experience Required: Technology Management

More than 10 years: 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Information Technology, with a focus on portfolio management, strategic planning, and technology delivery within a large, complex organisation. Proven track record in developing and executing strategic technology plans aligned with business objectives, driving digital transformation initiatives, and achieving measurable results. Deep expertise in IT portfolio management methodologies, including investment prioritisation and risk management.
