Assistant Restaurant Manager

What we're looking for

We’re seeking a talented and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Marylebone. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Jikoni team, Executive Chefs and directors, playing a pivotal role in building and leading our team at our Jikoni Marylebone. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be able to engage with Jikoni’s positive and purposeful values and also inspire, mentor and energise a bar/FOH team.

• Experience: 2 years' experience as a Supervisor is preferred or any equivalent experience in a restaurant setting is welcome. If you meet most of the criteria and are excited about the role, we encourage you to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service on shift
• Train and supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff
• Respond to reviews and customer enquiries
• Assist organisation of external events and private hires
• Manage reservations
• Ordering, taking stock and liaising with suppliers
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer feedback or complaints
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and brand consistency
