The Opportunity

We are looking for enthusiastic & passionate Culinary Interns to join our team at Delano Dubai.

This is an exciting opportunity for culinary students looking to gain hands-on experience in a luxury lifestyle hotel, develop their culinary skills & discover what goes into creating exceptional dining experiences.

Working alongside our talented chefs, you'll gain valuable exposure to our distinctive dining concepts, learn professional kitchen techniques & experience the creativity and energy of luxury lifestyle hospitality.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support our culinary team with daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking & presentation.

• Learn & apply professional culinary techniques under the guidance of experienced chefs.

• Assist with preparing ingredients, mise en place & maintaining smooth kitchen operations.

• Gain exposure to different cuisines, cooking methods & kitchen sections.

• Develop your understanding of food quality, flavour combinations & presentation standards.

• Support the team during breakfast, lunch, dinner & special events, depending on operational requirements.

• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, food safety & organisation.

• Learn about proper food storage, stock rotation & reducing food waste.

• Work closely with chefs & colleagues in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen environment.

• Participate in training & development opportunities throughout your internship.

Who We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery, Hospitality Management or a related field.

• A genuine passion for cooking, food preparation & the culinary arts.

• A positive attitude, natural curiosity & willingness to learn.

• Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment & food safety principles.

• Good communication skills in English. Proficiency in Russian, French or German would be an asset.

• A creative mindset with an eye for detail, presentation & quality.

• A team player who enjoys working in a dynamic, multicultural kitchen environment.

• Ability to stay organised, adapt quickly & work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene & food safety.

• Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not essential.
