The Senior Data Analytics Specialist will transform complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions and improve business performance. This role combines data analysis and modeling with hands-on development using SQL, Python, and business intelligence tools. You will contribute to data integration and ETL/ELT processes, helping ensure that information is reliable, accessible, and ready to support analytical initiatives. Working with cloud platforms and modern data technologies, you will help develop scalable solutions in a collaborative, results-oriented environment. Experience with Databricks and Big Data technologies is an advantage for professionals looking to work with advanced data ecosystems. This is a fully remote opportunity offered under a Brazilian independent contractor (PJ) arrangement, with an indefinite-term engagement.

• Analyze, interpret, and model data to generate actionable insights and support business decision-making.

• Use SQL and Python to query, transform, process, and analyze datasets.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.

• Design, implement, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows to support efficient data processing and integration.

• Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency, reliability, and availability for analytical use cases.

• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform to support data solutions.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of data models, analytical processes, and reporting capabilities.

• Apply appropriate data analysis practices to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to understand analytical needs and deliver relevant solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data analytics, including data analysis and data modeling.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python for data querying, transformation, and analysis.

• Practical experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools, particularly Power BI or Tableau.

• Experience designing or maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating data from different sources.

• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Advanced or fluent English proficiency is mandatory.

• Experience with Databricks and Big Data technologies is considered an advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into useful business insights.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and stakeholders.

• A proactive, collaborative approach to work, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize tasks.

• Ability to manage responsibilities independently while contributing to shared team objectives.
