Act as the main contact for electrical work, coordinating contractors, vendors and trade crews
Build and run the installation schedule so it fits around plant operations
Direct field crews from one-lines, panel schedules and drawings, and solve problems on the spot
Make sure control rooms get proper power quality, grounding, backup power and cable routing
Track budget and materials, and support testing, energization and handoff under OSHA and NFPA 70E
What you bring
5+ years as an electrical engineer in industrial or manufacturing settings; steel or heavy industry strongly preferred
A track record leading electrical installations from planning to commissioning
Working knowledge of power distribution, switchgear and MCCs
Comfort coordinating several trades on an active site, and the judgment to advise leadership on trade-offs
BSEE or equivalent hands-on experience, and willingness to be on site full time
Nice to have: Metals industry background, Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC installation experience, a PE (or progress toward one), OSHA 30.
