Event Setup Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Event Setup Assistant to help prepare event spaces and ensure activities are ready to run smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical tasks, working as part of a team, and contributing to successful events. No extensive experience is required, and training will be provided to help you learn event preparation procedures and develop valuable organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare event spaces according to setup instructions and schedules.

• Arrange tables, chairs, displays, signage, and promotional materials as needed.

• Check that event areas are clean, organized, and presentable before activities begin.

• Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and organizing event supplies.

• Support breakdown and cleanup after events conclude.

• Communicate with team members to ensure setup tasks are completed on time.

• Identify missing materials or setup concerns and report them to the appropriate person.

• Follow safety guidelines when handling equipment and supplies.
