ZeroEx is scaling permanent carbon removal through enhanced rock weathering (ERW) projects in Germany, Brazil, and the United States. We license cutting-edge measurement tech that verifies every tonne sequestered, opening up the ERW industry to mining and agribusinesses ready to add an additional business model or decarbonize their core business.

As a Field Technician, you’ll be the hands and eyes of ZeroEx on Brazilian soil—installing samplers, collecting high-quality samples, and managing data that feeds our MRV pipeline across our Rio Verde and Barro Alto projects. - Fieldwork: install / reinstall samplers and collect surface-water, biomass, and SIA samples.
- Data management: enter field data, track inventory, and safeguard data accuracy.
- Sample coordination: label, document, and organise samples for timely analysis.
- Collaboration: liaise with farmers and the wider ZeroEx team to integrate field data into carbon-removal strategies.
- Maintaining sampling equipment and basic laboratory space.
- Adhering to safety protocols and reporting any field issues promptly.
- Technical degree in Agronomy, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Hands-on background from a Brazilian farm environment.
- Portuguese fluency; basic English helpful.
- Valid Brazilian driver’s license (CNH category B).
- Availability to travel between Rio Verde and Barro Alto.
- Comfortable working outdoors across rural Goiás.
- Experience with agricultural sensors or lab management.
- Familiarity with GIS or farm-management software.
