- Preparation of the work process, machine setup, clamping and alignment of workpieces and tools.
- Determination of work procedures, equipment, and methods.
- Determination of cutting parameters and preparation of tools and materials for the manufacturing process.
- Setup of machine tools and the production process to achieve the required tolerances.
- Monitoring the use of cutting tools and setting up and controlling machines using the appropriate operating controls.
- Recording technical data regarding the progress and results of the work performed.
- Following the instructions of the supervisor.
- As required, performing manual work (grinding, finishing operations, etc.) and operating other machines, including multi-machine operation.
- Knowledge of general principles and procedures for machine and equipment maintenance
- Reading technical drawings
- Teamplayer
- Ability to work independently
