Working closely with the House Manager and OASIS Lead, you will keep arrivals organized across LOTUS evenings and OASIS Sundays. As part of the launch team, you will help establish a warm, consistent welcome while developing your reservations and guest relations skills.

Pay rate: $20 - $24, + gratuity

Role type: non-exempt

Key Responsibilities

Reservations & Arrivals

Review reservations and guest notes before service, confirm party sizes, arrival times and special requests, and maintain accurate booking records.

Welcome members and guests, recognize returning visitors and escort parties to their assigned seating.

Introduce guests to their server and communicate relevant preferences and requests to the appropriate team.

Manage waiting lists and coordinate table, bar and lounge seating with the House Manager, providing accurate availability and wait times.

Pace seating with the service team to support a smooth flow of arrivals.

Check Omakase bookings for the 7 PM and 8:30 PM sittings, coordinate arrivals with the Sushi and Omakase Lead, and promptly communicate late arrivals or booking changes.

Confirm OASIS brunch, cabana and evening reservations, explain approved booking terms and coordinate seating and handovers with the OASIS Lead and service team.

Guest Communication & Service Support

Answer calls and booking enquiries professionally, providing accurate information about operating hours, menus and the music program.

Refer membership and private dining enquiries to the responsible manager.

Communicate allergy, accessibility and other important requests to the service team and appropriate manager before seating, confirming that the handover has been received.

Handle routine requests calmly and involve the House Manager or OASIS Lead when a decision or service recovery is needed.

Refer access disputes and safety concerns to management or security.

Keep the host station, menus and supplies ready for service, and check that arrival and seating areas are presentable.

Coordinate cleaning or maintenance needs with the responsible team and assist service colleagues as directed.

Complete clear shift handovers covering expected arrivals, waiting parties, seating availability and outstanding guest requests.

What You Bring

Previous hosting, reception or guest service experience in a busy restaurant, hotel or comparable hospitality setting is preferred.

A warm, professional manner and the confidence to welcome guests, manage arrival queues and communicate clearly during busy service.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate reservation records.

Comfort learning booking and POS systems.

Discretion with guest information, sound judgment and a cooperative approach to working with service and culinary colleagues.

Availability for evening, weekend and holiday service, including late Friday and Saturday shifts and Sundays at OASIS.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, work indoors and outdoors, bend, reach, and move supplies weighing up to 30 pounds, with reasonable accommodation as needed.

Your Workweek

The proposed launch schedule is four working days, Thursday through Sunday, totaling approximately 24–30 hours per week, with Monday through Wednesday off.

Thursday through Saturday will cover LOTUS dinner arrivals, Omakase check-in and, when assigned, the transition to late lounge service. Sunday will cover either brunch and cabana arrivals or sunset and evening arrivals, with a handover between shifts.

Opening and late coverage will rotate within the host team. The House Manager will set daily start and finish times, breaks and Sunday coverage in coordination with the OASIS Lead. All required briefings, setup, training, closing and handover duties are included in working hours.

Due to scheduling requirements, operating hours, and compliance considerations, our roles require candidates to be 18 years of age or older.
