You will take ownership of operational performance, resolve order-related issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency, service quality and business performance.

What will you be doing:

  • Capture, validate, process and release customer orders received through multiple channels, including EDI, OCR, email, BEES and other systems, ensuring compliance with established customer, commercial and logistics requirements.
  • Verify customer master data, logistics constraints, delivery requirements and pricing conditions, where applicable, to ensure accurate order processing.
  • Monitor order status and proactively resolve order blocks, system exceptions, failed transactions and operational issues, ensuring orders are processed within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Work closely with Front Office, Inventory Deployment, Transport Planning, Commercial Supply Chain and Customer Service teams to support effective order fulfilment.
  • Support delivery execution and invoicing readiness, helping achieve On Time In Full (OTIF) targets and meet customer expectations.
  • Investigate operational issues affecting customer service performance, conduct root cause analysis and 5 Whys investigations, and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Take ownership of assigned KPIs, monitor operational performance and produce reports and data analysis to identify trends, address issues and support business decision-making.
  • Act as a first point of contact for operational escalations, providing timely support and helping resolve order management issues.
  • Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives, process standardisation, knowledge sharing and operational excellence programmes to improve productivity and simplify ways of working.
  • Support the testing, business validation, implementation and stabilisation of new systems, tools, process changes and automation solutions, acting as a point of contact for testing activities where required.
  • Ensure compliance with established processes, controls and operational procedures, maintaining high standards of accuracy, customer service and productivity.
  • Support cost-conscious decision-making and Zero Based Budgeting initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and helping prevent operational losses caused by order processing errors.

What you will bring:

  • A degree in Logistics, a higher level of education or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain, preferably within FMCG, with experience in Customer Service, Order Management or Stock Management considered relevant.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and cultures.
  • A strong ownership mindset, customer focus and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering results and maintaining high standards.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in process standardisation, operational excellence and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team while taking responsibility for assigned tasks, KPIs and operational outcomes.
  • Flexibility to adapt working hours to business needs, including team deadlines, seasonal activity and the bank holiday calendar of the country you support.
